And of course, they have to have treats! We use Temptations. This variety pack is nice as it comes with different flavors.

Drinking fountains. We find that our kids drink more if we use drinking fountains. We have tried several, but found this one to be the best. It is kind of a pain to clean as you have to sanitize all the parts weekly, but I think you will find it worth it. This is a PetSafe Drinkwell Platinum fountain.

Pet beds. There are many kinds of beds out there. We use the soft donut pillows for our kids. Easy to wash and dry. And they love them! This is just one sample. I do not have a favorite on these.

This is a good version if you have more than one cat. It is a great toy to chase around in and a bed in the middle. There are several varieties and colors to suit your decor!

Cat Trees. Cat trees vary from as little as under $100 to over $1000. So it will depend on your budget. I get the less expensive ones because I have so many kids, they ruin them too quickly to spend large amounts of money.

I have a pretty decent article with useful links for a variety of sites.

The 10 Best Cat Trees, Tested With Real Cats by the SprucePets, by Katherine Alex Beaven and Andrew Whalen

Cat trees are purpose-built cat activity centers with built-in features like cat caves, staggered platforms, scratching posts, and lounging spaces. They are great for giving your cat their own personal space to relax and help fulfill their own personal space to relax and help fulfill their natural instincts to climb, scratch, play, and seek privacy. With so many different types of cat trees on the market, we know it can a bit overwhelming to pick the perfect one for your house and your cats.

The Winners

After researching the best-selling, most popular, and most discussed cat trees on social media, including Reddit and TikTok, we selected 34 for testing on our own homes with our cats. Our favorite cat tree is the Go Pet Club 72" Tall Extra Large Cat Tree Kitty Tower. It was tested in a home with multiple cats who thoroughly enjoyed the six levels and a variety of surfaces offered. If you have a large cat, the Mau Cento cat tree is our top choice.
